Roll up your sleeves, put on your bib, and bust out those paints and brushes - it's time to paint boys and girls! Welcome to the Dungeon Lair painting contest page, where you'll find all the information needed to get started, such as the rules and guidelines, how often we'll be doing the contest, how to enter, and how a winner is selected. We supply you the pieces and ship them to you, all you need to do is enter! Here at Dungeon Lair we are about bringing gamers together and having fun, so no mater what your painting skill level maybe, please enter. You don't have to be a professional painter, it's about having fun and winning cool prizes!

How often will the contest be held

The Dungeon Lair painting contest will be held monthly. Below you'll find the format of how it will work every month moving forward...

1 week to enter
1 week to receive your pieces
1 week to paint and submit your pictures
1 week for voting

How to enter

To enter the Dungeon Lair painting contest you simply need to fill out the form below.

How are contestants selected

Three contestants will be selected each month at random from the pool of entries. The contestants who are selected will be notified by email that they have been chosen to participate in the Dungeon Lair painting contest. We will email each contestant who has been selected to confirm that they are a go for the contest. Once we receive a confirmation and verify a shipping address we will then ship out the pieces to each contestant that are being used for that months painting contest. If one or more chosen participants do not respond to our email confirming their willingness to participate than an alternate selection will be made.

Submitting pictures & short description

When submitting your pictures please provide at least 4 photographs from different angles. Pictures play a huge part in capturing the details of your piece, so do your best to make sure you submit good quality images. The pictures should be at least 600 x 600 pixels. If using your phone to take the pictures please turn your phone sideways.

Along with submitting your pictures, please include a short description. This might include, how long it took you to paint the piece, what were some of the techniques you used to achieve your results. What effects were you going for when you started the project, and were you successful. Did you try a new technique or painting style for this project. The pictures you submit along with your short description will be posted with your entry.

How a winner is selected

The Dungeon Lair community will decide who the winner is. Whoever receives the most thumbs up after the 1 week voting period wins! You are allowed to cast one vote per day. If there happens to be a tie, the Dungeon Lair team will cast the deciding vote. Voting ends on the last day of every month at 5pm CST.

All great competitions must be rewarded. You have put in the hard work, the time, the skill, and had a fun time doing it, and you won!
